Reward & Penalty Rules
Transmitters are rewarded for their contributions upon achieving consensus and finalizing data. Compensation is based on the accuracy and relevance of their inputs.
To maintain network integrity and deter misconduct, the staking mechanism enforces penalties for malicious or negligent behavior. Transmitters submitting incorrect data or failing in their duties face two primary consequences.
First, their stake can be reduced or "slashed," ensuring they bear significant financial consequences for dishonesty or negligence.
Second, non-performing Transmitters are removed from protocol operations for the current round. Their position remains vacant until the next selection round.
